Booking

A deposit of 20% of the total cost of services is required to secure your booking. The deposit sum will be deducted from your invoice, which will be issued a month in advance of your big day. If for any reason you need to postpone your wedding, this deposit will be transferrable to the new date.

Payment

All payments are to be made by Bacs. This includes the 20% booking fee, Trial fee (to be paid 1 week prior to the Trial) and remaining balance (to be paid no later than 2 weeks before the wedding day).

Additional Payments

In the case of larger bridal parties or early ceremonies requiring a second artist, an additional fee of £50 will be added to the invoice. Weddings scheduled for Bank Holidays or between Christmas and New Year will incur a surcharge of £50.

Trial

Trials will take place at LVN Studio in Godmanchester, unless otherwise agreed.
Duration of Trials: 90 minutes for make up only; 2 hours for hair only; up to 4 hours for both hair and make up.
It is the responsibility of the client to inform the artist of any skin allergies prior to the Trial.
It is useful to bring photos of your dress, hair accessories or veil if you plan to wear them. I always advise wearing a white T-shirt so that you can visualise the overall final look.
During peak season, weekends are reserved exclusively for weddings/occasions, and Trials are therefore available only Mon-Fri. Evenings may be available upon request.

Cancellation by me

In the unlikely event of a cancellation by me (e.g. personal emergency or severe illness), 100% of all funds paid will be refunded. I will also help look for an alternative make up artist or hairstylist who can accommodate your date.

Cancellation by the client

If client cancels after the 20% deposit has been paid, a refund of 10% will be given (via Bacs).

Image usage

Photographs of your make up and hair may be used to promotional purposes, for example social media or Portfolio. Images taken by your artist during your Trial and Wedding day will be sent to you as a keepsake. If you do not wish your images to be used for promotional purposes, please make me aware at the time of your Trial.
